I work as a web developer at Open Source group of Pareto and
spent most of my time programming python, mostly in Django and Zope.
If you haven't heard about a Django, The Web framwork for perfectionists
with deadlines, go look it up. http://www.djangoproject.com
For the deployment of the websites we use Fabric. Fabric lets you use
shell commands from within python on remote hosts. We use bazaar for out vcs needs. Bazaar
is also written in Python.
Before this I had a job as a physics and chemistry teacher and as a
system administrator where I used BSD and Linux. I have been using Linux and BSD for 8 years.
