A closer look into performance and availability
I currently work for ClusterVision as a Project Engineer. ClusterVision is specialist in compute, storage and database clusters. They have an impressive track in building quite some clusters in Europe, including some TOP500 computers.
I have currently installed and assisted in the installation of clusters in europe: Modena , Szczecin , Munster , Manchester , Geneva , Halle .
A few of my hobbies: snooker, pool billiards, photography, hiking and computer science and research.
A few of my fields of interests in computer science: parallel environments (cluster computing), system administration, shell scripting, webdevelopment (websites and webapplications)
One week of fun, knowledge exchange and empowering technologies.
