Niels is going to talk about Lifehacking/inbox zero/automation

Lifehacking was "officially" born some 5 years ago and raised by great lifehackers/ bloggers like Gina Trapani of lifehacker.com and Merlin Mann of Folders.com. Lifehacking and its brother and sister areas all have a central theme, which is "geek to live, don’t live to geek". A common source of frustration and inspiration is the promise that computers would make us more productive and that we would have more free time, but nowadays we have even less free time, or so it seems. Lifehacking is here to change that. I'll give you an introduction into the general theory of lifehacking and some concrete examples.
Niels, from Amstelveen, the Netherlands, takes an interest in almost anything. He is a voracious information-predator. Active on the web since 2000 where he reads up on and tries to apply different methods of efficient learning and working. Other areas of interest are personal development, geo-politics, consumerism and the effects of globalisation. After partial educations in Computer Science and Psychology Niels now works for a small webdesign company and spends his days developing and maintaining webapplications in PHP. Living in a student-dorm near Amsterdam he enjoys music and the occasional psychedelic substance.
